We have been through a difficult year – the drought wiped out our early crops and the next planting drowned in the heavy rains of March through to May.
This and a change of circumstance for the owners has brought us to the decision to halt production of vegetables on a large scale and concentrate on tree planting, the cattle and horses, and also accommodation for weekenders from Nairobi. We will still grow some vegetables for our own use but not the range of lettuces that we were growing.
